Reverend J. Brown, Soke
Senior Instructor
Background
Studying since he was 8 years old, Soke Brown has several decades of experience in the martial arts and holds black belts in various styles, including receiving his first black belt from world champion and movie actor, Billy Blanks. Brown founded the United Systems Association in 1988 and created Issho-Ryu Karate in 1999. He has opened several schools in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and Texas. Reverend Brown's classes combine solid effective martial arts with a spiritual element which is grounded in the Christian faith.
